AU SERVICE DES ENFANTS
Suite à un voyage au Bénin, l’association CEP Monaco a eu pour objectif la construction et la pérennisation d’un orphelinat dans ce pays en développement où le taux de mortalité maternelle et infantile est élevé.
Le premier bâtiment de 250 m² a été inauguré en février 2014.
Il accueille 6 orphelins à partir de l'age de 3 ans, un couple pour la direction, et un gardien pour la sécurité des lieux.
Une petite autonomie agricole est faite par la culture de céréales, de fruits et légumes, et des poules.
La pérennité de l’établissement sera en partie assurée par les parrainages des orphelins.
Nous recherchons en permanence des parrains et des partenaires financiers.
Notre prochain objectif est de continuer la construction des 3 prochains dortoirs pour accueillir à terme 108 enfants.
Since a mission trip in Benin, the association CEP has had the will to achieve the construction and sustainability of an orphanage in this emerging country, where the infant and maternal death rate is high.
The first building (250m2) was inaugurated in February 2014.
Already 4 orphans from age 3 to 17, a couple in charge of the direction and a watchman for security purposes, are receiving accommodation.
Food autonomy is partially ensured by a small farmland comprising the production of cereals, fruits and vegetables and some chickens.
The durability of this project will be partly dependent on the sponsorship of the orphans.
We are actively and constantly looking for sponsors and financial partners.
In fact, our next goal is to keep on building the 3 next dormitories to welcome, with time, 108 children.
